鬃毛吼猴（Alouatta palliata），又名长毛吼猴，是中美洲及南美洲的一种吼猴。牠们是中美洲最常见及听到的猴子之一。牠们的两侧有很长的护毛，故有此名。

鬃毛吼猴是中美洲最大的猴子之一，约有黑掌蜘蛛猴的大小，雄性可以重达9.8公斤。牠们主要吃叶子，有很多构造都适合这种食性。由于叶子很难消化及比其他食物提供较少能量，牠们很多时都是在休息及睡觉。雄性吼猴的舌骨很大，可以扩大叫声。牠们的吼叫可以帮助互相定位，免却劳动而浪费能量或面临不必要的威胁。

鬃毛吼猴的群族可以有超过40个成员。牠们达至性成熟时就会被赶出群族，而群族内的成年吼猴很多时都没有关系。至上的雄性会享有选择食物及休息处的权力，且能与大部份的雌性交配。牠们对于雨林的生态甚为重要，因为牠们可以帮助散布种子及发芽。虽然牠们受到伐林的影响，但仍为适应有限空间的环境。

It is one of the monkey species most often seen and heard in the wild in Central America. It takes its "mantled" name from the long guard hairs on its sides.
