单词 Electrical conduction
释义

Electrical conduction

Now in a normal electrical conduction system, the AV node is the only place where the signal can get through from the atria to the ventricles.

These blocks or delays usually happen because of some sort of damage or fibrosis to the electrical conduction system, the pathways that conduct the electrical signal.

That's due to sort of disorganized ion movement within the cardiomyocytes, and it could also be due to a disrupted electrical conduction system within the heart.

Beyond serving to support his young family, his work focused on many different devices involving electrical conduction and mechanics and it has been posited that this impacted on Einstein's own research during his formative years.

Electrical resistivity and conductivity

Electrical resistivity and conductivity

Electrical conduction)
A piece of resistive material with electrical contacts on both ends.
Filling of the electronic states in various types of materials at equilibrium. Here, height is energy while width is the density of available states for a certain energy in the material listed. The shade follows the Fermi–Dirac distribution (black=all states filled, white=no state filled). In metals and semimetals the Fermi level EF lies inside at least one band.
In insulators and semiconductors the Fermi level is inside a band gap; however, in semiconductors the bands are near enough to the Fermi level to be thermally populated with electrons or holes.
Like balls in a Newton's cradle, electrons in a metal quickly transfer energy from one terminal to another, despite their own negligible movement.
Lightning
is an example of plasma present at Earth's surface.
Typically, lightning discharges 30,000 amperes at up to 100 million volts, and emits light, radio waves, X-rays and even gamma rays.[12] Plasma temperatures in lightning can approach 28,000 Kelvin (28,000 °C) (50,000 °F) and electron densities may exceed 1024 m−3.

Electrical resistivity (also known as resistivity, specific electrical resistance, or volume resistivity) is an intrinsic property that quantifies how strongly a given material opposes the flow of electric current. A low resistivity indicates a material that readily allows the flow of electric current. Resistivity is commonly represented by the Greek letter ρ (rho). The SI unit of electrical resistivity is the ohm⋅metre (Ω⋅m) although other units like ohm⋅centimetre (Ω⋅cm) are also in use. As an example, if a 1 m × 1 m × 1 m solid cube of material has sheet contacts on two opposite faces, and the resistance between these contacts is 1 Ω, then the resistivity of the material is 1 Ω⋅m.
