The Israelites were subject to Eglon king of Moab for eighteen years.

于是以色列人服侍摩押王伊矶伦十八年。

So they brought the five kings out of the cave—the kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish and Eglon.

众人就这样行，将那五王，就是耶路撒冷王、希伯仑王、耶末王、拉吉王、伊矶伦王，从洞里带出来，领到约书亚面前。

Then Joshua and all Israel with him moved on from Lachish to Eglon; they took up positions against it and attacked it.

约书亚和以色列众人从拉吉往伊矶伦去，对着伊矶伦安营，攻打这城。

Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord, and because they did this evil the Lord gave Eglon king of Moab power over Israel.

以色列人又行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，耶和华就使摩押王伊矶伦强盛，攻击以色列人。

Then the five kings of the Amorites—the kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish and Eglon—joined forces. They moved up with all their troops and took up positions against Gibeon and attacked it.

于是五个亚摩利王，就是耶路撒冷王、希伯仑王、耶末王、拉吉王、伊矶伦王，大家聚集，率领他们的众军上去，对着基遍安营，攻打基遍。

Again the Israelites cried out to the Lord, and he gave them a deliverer—Ehud, a left-handed man, the son of Gera the Benjamite. The Israelites sent him with tribute to Eglon king of Moab.

以色列人呼求耶和华的时候，耶和华就为他们兴起一位拯救者，就是便雅悯人基拉的儿子以笏，他是左手便利的。以色列人托他送礼物给摩押王伊矶伦。

They took the city and put it to the sword, together with its king, its villages and everyone in it. They left no survivors. Just as at Eglon, they totally destroyed it and everyone in it.

就夺了希伯仑和属希伯仑的诸城邑，用刀将城中的人与王，并那些城邑中的人口，都击杀了，没有留下一个，是照他向伊矶伦所行的，把城中的一切人口尽行杀灭。

But on reaching the stone images near Gilgal he himself went back to Eglon and said, " Your Majesty, I have a secret message for you" . The king said to his attendants, " Leave us" ! And they all left.

自己却从靠近吉甲凿石之地回来，说：" 王啊，我有一件机密事奏告你。" 王说：" 回避吧！" 于是左右侍立的人都退去了。
