Dukem

Dukem (var. Ducam, Dukham; Ge'ez ዱከም) is a town in central Ethiopia. It is named after the Dukem River. Located in the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne of the Oromia Region, 37 kilometers southeast of Addis Ababa and 10 kilometers northwest of Bishoftu, this town has a latitude and longitude of 08°48′N 38°54′E / 8.800°N 38.900°E / 8.800; 38.900 and an elevation of 1950 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Akaki woreda.
