漂移是一种驾驶技巧,又叫“侧滑”、“滑胎”或“甩尾”,车手以过度转向的方式令车子侧滑行走。通常相对于咬地过弯(Grip,一种维持车辆轮胎抓地力的过弯方式),甩尾主要用在表演或是路况变化较大的赛车活动,其中又以越野拉力赛里应用频率较多,而其他竞速类的赛车则鲜少运用漂移技巧过弯。这主要原因是甩尾虽然可以在过弯时保持较高的引擎转速,但由于在一般柏油路面上过弯时车速减损较多,再加上轮胎损耗较大,除非是特殊原因,车手并不会经常在竞赛过程中使用此技巧。
