Ali Sabieh (Somali:Cali Sabiix, Arabic:علي صبيح‎) is the second largest city in Djibouti. It is situated about 93 kilometres (58 miles) Southwest of Djibouti City and 10 km (6 mi) north of the border with Ethiopia. It sprawls on a wide basin surrounded by granitic mountains on all sides. Ali Sabieh is served by a station on the Addis Ababa - Djibouti Railway. The famous landmark of Ali Sabieh is located near the city.
