Douglas Water

- Not to be confused with either the Douglas Water (Loch Fyne) which flows into Loch Fyne or the Glen Douglas (Douglas Water) which flows into Loch Lomond.
The Douglas Water (Scottish Gaelic:Dùghlas) is a river in South Lanarkshire of south-central Scotland. It is a tributary of the River Clyde.
The river's name comes from the Gaelic dubh-ghlas, meaning black water.
